Take a photo with your phone camera and your location is pinned for you. Add a title, pick a pickup time from a simple list, and you're done in under a minute.

Neighbors ask for it
Up to three neighbors can ask for a give-away, and you choose who gets it. Barter offers come with a photo of the item on offer. Deals go to the first person to claim at the posted price.

Meet and hand over
Chat to sort out the details. Once you're chosen, you get the exact pickup spot, and it's a short walk away. If plans fall through, either of you can cancel and the item goes back up for others.

Posting starts with the camera. Photos are labeled with a green outline when taken live and a reddish one when picked from the gallery, so you know what you're looking at.

Look up any listing by title, filter by donate, barter or deal, and hide items that are already claimed.
Keep track of your claims
A My claims list shows everything you've asked for, and whether you're waiting, chosen, or already picked up.
Manage your listings
Edit a listing, even change its type. Archive ones you're done with, and search or filter them by status.
Chat that stays in the app
Talk through each request, search your messages, and see who's asking. Nobody sees your phone number.
Your profile
Set your name and area so neighbors know who they're dealing with. Your number stays private.
Your address stays yours
Everyone browsing sees only an area about 200 meters across, never your exact pin. The precise pickup spot is shared only with the person whose claim you accept.

Questions
Is Ugyon free?
Yes. Giving things away costs nothing. For deals, you pay the seller directly in person when you pick the item up. Ugyon doesn't process any payments.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Ugyon runs in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
How do I sign in?
With your phone number. We text you a 6-digit code, and there's no password to remember.
Where can I use it?
We're starting with a single barangay as a pilot, then opening up to more neighborhoods as it grows.
Can more than one person ask for the same item?
For give-aways, yes: up to three neighbors can ask, and the owner chooses who gets it. Once three have asked, the item shows as claimed. Deals go to the first person to claim, and barter listings can collect offers for the owner to compare.
How do I know a photo is real?
Photos are labeled by how they were added. A green outline means it was taken with the phone camera when the item was posted, and a reddish outline means it was picked from the gallery. It's a helpful hint, not a guarantee, so check the item when you pick it up.
What if the person doesn't show up?
Either of you can cancel from the chat menu. The item goes back on the feed for other neighbors, and the person who was chosen no longer sees the exact location.
Does anyone see my phone number?
No. Neighbors see your name and your area, and everything else happens in the app's chat.
Who sees where my item is?
Neighbors browsing see an approximate area about 200 meters across. The exact pickup spot is shared only with the person whose claim you accept.
